"Plant no tree sooner than the vine."

Alcaeus, 580 BC

I say we keep this guy on the payroll!

The 2016 vintage from Bordeaux has been touted as one of the greatest in the last 100 years!  Well, I guess that makes one of the greatest vintages in the last 20 years seem a bit "ho hum", While many of the 2016's are years away from their peak drinking years, some are drinking very nicely at the moment and it is hard to find a bad bottle of 2016 Bordeaux.  So, I figured at 10 years of age it was time to start tasting these wines to see if the critics were right and these wines will need another two decades to start to drink at their peak.

This is scientific work we are doing here at Wine Watch and we also have a nice selection of 2016 vintage Bordeaux wine in the store now so if you can’t make the tasting you could host your own with everyday selections starting  in the $20 per bottle price range.

The fee for this tasting which includes dinner and gratuity is $350 + tax, for reservations call 954-523-9463 or e-mail andy@winewatch.com.
